    Jean Stephenne put his skills of Agricultural engineering, specialized in chemistry and bio-industry, at the service of development and production of vaccines throughout his 40 year career within GSK Biologicals group. Under his leadership, the Belgian production site developed into a world-renowned center which integrates research, development, clinical studies, production and global marketing. His experience has led him to hold the Presidency of the Walloon Union of Companies (l'Union wallonne des Entreprises) and to be involved as a board member of many companies.

    Sylvain LANDAU

    Sylvain Landau provides the valued experience of administrator within many companies especially in the health sector (Pharmaceutical Laboratories Sanders-Probel, Psyphac SA Sandipro SA Centrapharm SA Indalco SA). Through his participation in various joint venture projects with universities in the biotechnology and nanotechnology sector (HealOr, ApNano) he contributes to the development of new companies in high -tech sectors.

    Jacques REYMANN

    Managing Director of the Fabricom Group (now Tractebel GDF-Suez) for more than 10 years, Jacques Reyman led an international career in the engineering sector. He then chaired Entrepose Contracting and contributed to the development of several innovative start-ups, among which Bone Therapeutics was one. This company which he co-founded and advised until 2012 has specialized in the development of cellular therapies.

    Christian VANDECASSERIE

    Administrator of companies specialized in health technology (Stratecell, Nanopole SA) Christian Vandecasserie acquired experience in production within the Sanders-Probel pharmaceutical industry firm and as Director and Vice- President at GSK Biologicals. He also contributed to the teaching and academic research as a visiting professor and consultant in various universities including the "Université Libre de Bruxelles" (Brussels Free University).

  • Jean-Jacques DELENS

    A civil engineer for UCL Constructions, he has devoted a considerable part of his career to the construction sector and property development whilst working for the BESIX Group. This experience helped him to accentuate certain leanings, in particular his approaches to Societal Responsibilities and Micro-credit Development in Africa. Investment in start-ups and small and medium sized businesses is part of his strategy: the creation of a recent private social housing fund also supports this approach.

    Antoine DE MORTEMART

    Antoine de Mortemart started his career in fund management for Fortis in Brussels. He is the co-founder of the investment firm Iris and a board member of several high-potential small and medium sized businesses in Belgium and abroad.

    Cyril WOLKONSKY

    A member of a family with deep roots in the pharmaceutical industry and boasting a double experience as a banker (for 30 years as part of the finance and investment branch of Paribas then with BNP Paribas) and then as a businessman (as a private equity investor), Cyril Wolkonsky is today the co-founder and one of the driving forces behind the investment firm Iris, whose mission is to invest in small and medium sized businesses with excellent growth potential.

    Anne PRIGNON

    Anne Prignon holds a degree in economics, supplimented in the 90s by a Masters in Management. After her studies, she spent a few years at university as a researcher and as an assistant of the Belgian Ministry of Finance. Then, she moved on to more than fifteen years in the banking sector, successively in Brussels and Charleroi in corporate banking (business sector) as a business relations manager, risk manager and member of the Regional Credit Committee.

    Currently Advisor at Sambrinvest, a regional public investment company, Fabrice Carosella has proven skills in business development and financial management of SMEs (SODIE, advisor in economic development). He has extensive experience of contacts and procedures with banks, investment companies and local/regional authorities, having developed them as part of many projects.

    Georges GUILLAUME

    With experience as an owner and manager of a pharmacy and his skills as an industrial pharmacist Georges Guillaume accumulated an extensive knowledge of production management and pharmaceutical distribution. After holding the position of plant responsible pharmacist (STEROP) and director of vaccine production (SMITH KLINE), he holds important positions within Belgian professional organizations of pharmacists.

    Alain PARTHOENS

    After 20 years in the food-processing and biotechnological industry where he held positions of increasing responsibility, since 2001 Alain Parthoens is a venture capitalist specialized in life sciences. He carried out investments in more than 30 new companies with strong growth potential. He was president of the Belgian capital venture and private equity association and is now an active member of "venture capita councill" of the European association EVCA.

    Vincent STÉPHENNE

    Vincent Stephenne accepted the position of Managing Director of BePharBel Manufacturing, a position he has held since September 2012, where he uses his high-level expertise and professional experience. A Doctor of Applied Science, he also completed an MBA within the Louvain School of Management (LSM - UCL). His career started in Research and Development at TOTAL, in particular as a technical sales support engineer, then at BAXTER as Project Manager.
